This picture shows the Quick .30 with the canopy removed.  The first thing that catches the eye is the LACK of long complex linkages that are present in most other helicopter designs.  The Quick .30 uses the EMS control system.  This system (sometimes called CCPM) uses the complex capabilites available in most of todays computer radios to allow a design where 3 servos are directly attached to the swashplate.  This means the force being applied to the swashplate is direct, and all three servos act on the swashplate for any cyclic moves.  AND REMEMBER, the Quick .30 is ALL METAL.  You don't have to purchase expensive upgrades to replace a bunch of plastic parts.
